I think angels are like children-
always innocent,
always trying to get our attention
when we think we’re
too busy to play.

I think angels are like children-
sometimes hiding
with a grin under the laundry we need to fold,
hoping to pounce
and make us smile.

I think angels are like children –
sometimes inventing
strange dances in the kitchen, shamelessly attempting to
lure us away
from doing dishes.

I think angels are like children-
living incompressibly
in the present moment, perfectly united to God-
teaching us to live
in the joy of His Kingdom on earth.
