God bless the immigrants and refugees around the world, who are being traumatized at the hands of those, who have the power to help them.

Especially bless the children, who have been separated from their families at the border between Mexico and the United States. Fill their hearts with the peace that surpasses understanding, and protect their precious little souls from giving up hope in a better future. Give them the grace of encountering Your loving and heavenly presence, even as they are separated from earthly comfort. Help them to feel connected to their families in a spiritual way, even while they are torn apart. Provide them with supernatural comfort until their sense of security can be restored. Facilitate their spiritual growth through this time of deep heartache and trial. Provide a path of healing for the trauma they’ve gone through.

Soften the hearts of those in power to create and uphold policies, which affirm their dignity and inherent worth as human beings and children of God. Strengthen, protect and guide those of us, who are called to seek justice on their behalf. Give us the grace to join together in unity as the body of Christ to inspire change.

Forgive all of us for any way we have contributed to their suffering through our apathy or lack of faith and action. Inspire long-term sustainable solutions to help solve the refugee crisis throughout the world.
