About Unite in Prayer

Hi! My name is Nicky Gant. I have three little boys, a wonderful husband and a relatively simple life.

I was inspired to create Unite in Prayer as a tangible expression of what’s in my heart.

I’m a stay-at-home mom, who used to work in advertising and communications, but my real life’s work has been to transform my natural tendency to worry into prayer. By the Grace of God, I’ve been blessed with a deep contemplative prayer life, which enriches every aspect of my life.

It is my joy to share that with you here through writing (something I love to do) and graphics (something I’m grateful technology is making easier to do).

Unite In Prayer (1)

I’ve seen how God can swoop in with miraculous healings and transformations that defy reason.

I’ve received outpourings of His Strength and Grace to persevere through long seasons of difficulty in my life.

I’ve been blessed to encounter His Presence through the love of an incredible faith community.

I’ve also checked the news and talked to people enough to notice that the world seems to be going to hell in a hand basket.

So as a woman and mother on this planet, I’ve made an executive decision that we (referring to the human race) need more prayer – always!

I especially think we need more God on the Internet, where negativity and superficiality prey on our human tendencies toward every kind of negativity.

we need more hope (2)

So I am pouring my heart and soul into creating prayers with graphics that people can easily share on social media to provide encouragement and blessings or bring some grace into a negative conversation.

Many of us know that God is the source of all Good things, I’m just trying to make it easier for us to focus on that, while surfing the web.

I hope He uses my little offering to spark more prayer, so we can see more miracles, receive more strength and create more positive connections with each other.

Prayer

So please, share away!

Or take a moment to Pray for me to follow His Divine Inspiration on this project!

I’ll write as fast as I can while keeping prayerful integrity and using my best discernment!

Yours in Christ!

Nicky Gant

Beautiful writing Nicky, and reason for writing! I look forward to reading more. If you are on Face Book, look me up as there is a beautiful writing community I belong to, ‘Glory Writers’ that you might just enjoy. Ana Lisa.
