One taste, and I was hooked.
Life,
the Sweet Abundant Life
as promised
is
soooooo delicious.
Pure Love,
the only thing that even really exists.
I couldn’t help but decide
it was worth
dying for,
and I’ve been doing it ever since
with as much grace as I can manage –
It’s not as bad as it sounds!
To live fully is
an expensive gift,
it costs us everything
and is worth every penny,
every tear,
every upside-down moment,
every step outside the comfort zone,
every deep breath of patience,
every act of forgiveness,
every willingness to stand in the Truth at all costs.
When we have the courage to let go,
we create space
for the Only Thing we really want,
the Only Thing that lasts forever.
Matthew 10:30 “Whoever finds their life will lose it, and whoever loses their life for my sake will find it.”
1 Thessalonians 5:2-4: “For you yourselves are fully aware that the day of the Lord will come like a thief in the night. While people are saying, “There is peace and security,” then sudden destruction will come upon them as labor pains come upon a pregnant woman, and they will not escape. But you are not in darkness, brothers, for that day to surprise you like a thief.”
“Thou hast made us for thyself, O Lord, and our heart is restless until it finds its rest in thee.” – Saint Augustine
James 1:2-4 “Consider it pure joy, my brothers and sisters, whenever you face trials of many kinds, because you know that the testing of your faith produces perseverance. Let perseverance finish its work so that you may be mature and complete, not lacking anything.”
Have you had an encounter with God’s love that transformed your life from the inside out and make you willing to sacrifice for the greater good? How have you died to yourself to gain richer life in Christ’s love through faith? Comment below, and I’ll be delighted to keep you in my prayers?
Lord give us an encounter with Your love that changes our hearts and places us securely on the spiritual path. Help us to let go of attachment of the temporal things of this world, so we can live for the Light of eternity and truly begin to bring Your work of bringing Heaven to earth in this lifetime. In Jesus name, we pray.

We have to die to ourselves daily if we want to truly inherit the kingdom of God. Dying to the flesh is not always easy but with God, IT’S POSSIBLE! Jesus was the prime example of this.
Agreed ❤️❤️ thank you for taking the time to read and comment. I think the additional point I’m trying to circle to is that “we love because He first loved us” and those sacrifices we make as believers flow from that encounter with God’s love rather than our own strength or willpower. I’m obsessed with the power of prayer because even when people let us down, we can experience Christ’s love, mercy, etc in prayer and flow it out into the world that so desperately needs it ❤️❤️❤️ I hope you have a blessed day, Roshanda and encounter God’s love in unexpected ways 🙏🏻🙏🏻
You are absolutely, RIGHT ON! Prayer is the key to combat any and everything! As you say, we learn in that time to love more, do more and act more like Christ instead of our pesky flesh. People have to see God and that’s through us! You have a Blessed day as well!! God Bless You and Your Ministry! ❤️❤️❤️
