I decided to make time

for the Timeless,

and it has transformed every aspect of my life.

Nothing is mundane anymore.

Here and

now,

where “reality” competes

for my full attention –

when I open my heart into Eternity,

life sparkles again.

Everything is possible because

God has captivated my attention.

Above and beyond

the gravity of this world,

He tosses me in the air

and catches me in Strong Arms

every time –

I can’t wait to see what happens next

in the wonder of His Presence

through prayer.

Life can be discouraging. When reality seems harsh, we can begin to expect the worst in every situation, gradually losing our faith in God’s loving presence with us.

Instead, I encourage you to focus on God’s infinite, miraculous power to heal and create beauty out of the ashes of our circumstances.

When we open our hearts to what St. Teresa of Avila called the “infinite possibilities born of faith,” there is no telling what Our Heavenly Father can accomplish in transforming our lives or our perceptions of the challenges we’re facing.

No matter what we’re going through, God can make His timeless, eternal presence deeply felt as a source of peace, perspective, joy and fatherly love in our lives, filling us with the gifts of the Holy Spirit and giving us the grace to live meaningful lives.

Lord, help us find the time and energy to incorporate more contemplative prayer into our busy lifestyles. Give us the grace to understand the value of focusing on Your transformational power, so we can become more aware of Your loving, joyful Divine Presence in our lives. In Jesus name we pray, Amen.
