Just a Reminder: Every prayer matters

Like smooth stones

skipping,

every prayer

has a ripple effect.

Love creates

invisible

waves of grace

that change everything.

Saint Augustine said “Faith is to believe what you do not see; The reward of this faith is to see what you believe.” We certainly don’t always see the ripple effect of our prayers right away, and prayers aren’t always answered the way we would choose. But over time, it’s plain to see how God shapes our lives through our devotion to Him.

When we pay attention, we can see for ourselves how every single promises Jesus made is true in our lives and the lives of others.  Prayer transforms us and the world around us in powerful ways, when we are willing to persevere through trials.

Today, I encourage you to persist in prayer. Open up to new ways of viewing life through the lens of faith, and allow God’s grace to shape you into the incredible person He created you to be. Expect Him to move mountains and reveal wonderful new paths for your life, where you can learn to glorify Him with your choices.

Matthew 21: 21-22 And Jesus answered them, “Truly, I say to you, if you have faith and do not doubt, you will not only do what has been done to the fig tree, but even if you say to this mountain, ‘Be taken up and thrown into the sea,’ it will happen. And whatever you ask in prayer, you will receive, if you have faith.”

God, give us the grace of faith to truly believe in Your power to transform lives. Help us persevere in prayer and completely surrender to Your will in order to trust you with our whole hearts. Help us to be worthy of your promises, so we can see Your glory manifest in our lives through miracles and answered prayers. In Jesus name, we pray, Amen.
